GTE is the range of intumescent and smoke control seals developed by GMP Engineering to provide maximum protection against smoke, gases and flames, from ambient temperature up to over 500°C. Designed for high-safety applications, GTE seals provide a tight seal, reliability and durability, even under the most extreme conditions.

GTE SMOKE BARRIER
GTE Smoke Barrier is a Class V-0 silicone seal designed to block gases and cold smoke from low temperatures up to over 250°C.

DIFFERENCES FROM TRADITIONAL SEALS
Unlike conventional seals, which can deteriorate even below 80°C and release toxic fumes, GTE Smoke Barrier seals retain their structural functionality and allow the GTE intumescent seal to expand later and completely seal off the passage of flames, hot smoke and hazardous substances.
