GTE
GTE is the range of intumescent and smoke control seals developed by GMP Engineering to provide maximum protection against smoke, gases and flames, from ambient temperature up to over 500°C. Designed for high-safety applications, GTE seals provide a tight seal, reliability and durability, even under the most extreme conditions.

GTE SMOKE CONTROL
A class V0 silicone seal engineered to block gas and cold smoke, from sub-zero temperatures up to over 350°C.
DIFFERENCES FROM TRADITIONAL SEALS
Unlike traditional seals, which start to degrade at temperatures as low as 80°C and release toxic, harmful fumes, GTE smoke control seals retain their function — giving the GTE intumescent seal time to expand and fully close off every path for flames, hot smoke and hazardous substances.
